Aviwe from MfuleniCalling all children between the ages of 6 and 12 to become an Afrika Tikkun Cycle Star! Ride alongside 6 year old Aviwe from Mfuleni and raise funds to send underprivileged children to a crèche!

1 December 2012 South Africa

Join Afrika Tikkun, Constitution Hill and Lead SA on 1 December  build the World's longest Aids ribbon.  We are collecting red T-shirts to build the ribbon and inviting volunteers to join us on the day.  The T-shirts will be donated to the communities in which we work.

18 July  2012                                                                                    South Africa                                                        The most notable work took place on the Diepsloot and Braampark centres. The Diepsloot event was even graced by Minister, Melusi gigaba. The pictures captured of the day are on our Facebook page under an album named 67 minutes at Diepsloot.  
19 July 2012 South Africa The Zolile Malindi Centre opened in Mfuleni, it had an attendance of 700 people, making it a highly successful launch of yet another Afrika Tikkun Centre.
22 July 2012 South Africa Afrika Tikkun garnered a large following, there was a large amount of usage of our social media platforms on the day too. For an idea of the day, visit our Facebook page and see the album on the event.   
15 August 2012     South Africa  The Afrika Tikkun Uthando Centre opening was a warm affair that saw an abandoned inner city building in Braampark re-worked and turned into a world class centre.  We have put up an album of the opening on our Facebook page.                                         
9 September 2012 South Africa Over 800 children from Afrika Tikkun community Centres take to the field at the Johannesburg stadium for the sixth annual Afrika Tikkun Sports Day and mini Olympics.
