Sustainability at Afrika Tikkun
For over three decades, Afrika Tikkun has kept the future in mind in everything we do. Today, that commitment to Sustainability is matched by a growing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, the operational framework that turns our values into measurable, accountable action across all five Centres of Excellence.
Explore below how Afrika Tikkun aligns with global ESG standards, and how partners and funders can be part of our journey.
Explore our approachSustainability vs ESG, our framing
Sustainability is one of Afrika Tikkun's Core Values: we keep the future in mind in whatever we do. ESG is how we deliver on it: the systems, standards, and accountability that make that commitment measurable.
Afrika Tikkun's Cradle-to-Career model has always been built for long-term impact. Our ESG strategy formalises that intent into clear structures across three pillars:
01
Environmental stewardship across our Centres, from solar energy and boreholes to regenerative farming and agripreneurship training.
02
Inclusive education, youth employment, disability inclusion, and community wellbeing at scale.
03
Ethical leadership, risk management, prevention of corruption and bribery, and transparent accountability to our partners and the communities we serve.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals
After a comprehensive audit across all Afrika Tikkun's programs, we are proud to say all 17 Sustainable Development Goals are addressed across our Cradle to Career Model.
